A Rare Find
Our vines are tended by hand to ensure the highest quality grapes: we harvest by hand and use extensive canopy management. We strive for low yields to bring out concentrated flavour and structure in the fruit. Our wines are aged longer than necessary (16 months or more) in new French oak. We are constantly experimenting with special techniques usually reserved only for the more unusual and special wines, including co-fermentation and barrel fermentation of red single-varietal and blended wines. The result is a type of rare wine, hard to find anywhere and full of complex expression.
2015 Vintages
Labor-intensive and reserved for only the most special wines, fermentation directly in oak barrels imparts soft, silky tannins and better oak integration.
An experimental wine, with the character of a Cabernet Franc, but dosed with 15% of barrel-fermented Malbec to add a unique twist.
The expression of our vineyard, combining all three varietals (Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot) into our signature blend.
2014 Baritone Malbec
An 85/10/5 blend of our three varietals: Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The wine shows a bold fruit expression, with black cherry, plum, and blueberry fruit character, underpinned by spicy vanilla notes.
